Extremadura International Music Festival, FIME, is a new event within the Extremaduran cultural scene. It is a unique and different music festival in Extremadura. In this first edition 2022, it will be dedicated to the musical instrument, the bassoon.

During the day we will have activities and exhibitions carried out by great professionals and at night, we will have high-level concerts around the bassoon.

FIME was born with the aim of facilitating and helping to improve future promises in their professional skills as well as making the musical world known to all Extremadurans, counting on national and international experts.

It will be a world reference since we will have the best professionals and most prestigious brands in the field.

The activities are: masterclass, workshops, conferences, exhibitions of instruments and materials, contest and concerts every day. All activities are open to all types of public.

The best way to end the day is listening to the most prestigious musicians . We will be able to enjoy renowned soloists such as the Extremadura Orchestra, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, the Lucerne Festival Orchestra, the Zurich Tonhalle Orchestra, the French National Orchestra or the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra.
